Mexico Information (Researching)

I picked Mexico because I find that their country is an interesting place. Some Mexican people live in America. I was researching about Mexico on the internet, and I have found out some results that there are 122.3 million people in Mexico in the year of 2013. I've also found out that they like to eat a lot of spicy food. Mexico is one common country that has a lot of violence that happens there. Also that they do a lot of drug dealing too. There are also some places in Mexico that are beautiful in the country.

Rm 5's Cyber smart movie review

Room 5’s Cybersmart Manaiakalani movie

Cybersmart is one thing you should do in Pt England. Room 5’s movie was all about cyber smart. The message behind the scene was to teach the students at any school to be a cyber smart kid. Their clip is appropriate for people who understand the meaning of the word cybersmart.

The quality of the lighting was alright because there were some angles from the film that had the bright sun, that was only outside though. The camera angles where used appropriate because Liz G used very smart angles. The camera they used was a video camera, it was Miss Va’afusuaga’s camera.

When the video played at the Manaiakalani film festival I thought that the movie I could hear was very good and the characters spoke very loudly. The characters did read their script very well. The music that started when the four boys where walking to the park suited the movie, the music was a remix.

The places where the film was set was first in room 23’s class bay, then the boys moved to the park, and from their they chased the girls to team 5. The costumes where just our school uniform, it was just Mrs Fosita (Uli) wore clothes from the green screen room, so yes the costumes were appropriate.

The story float because the message of the movie was to teach people to be cybersmart. The lengths of the clips in the movie was just right to fit into movie. I think that this movie is just right

strategies. I found doing this fun and easy.

Geometry

WALT: Identify how many degrees are in various angles and lines.
This is my activity task for week 5 term 4. This week my
numeracy class is learning to identify how many degrees
are in various angles and lines. I learnt that in a triangle 
there is 180 degrees inside it. I would love to do more of
geometry in the next few weeks of term 4!

numeracy class is learning to figure out bedmas equations.
I am learning a lot of bedmas from this activity. I hope to
do more of bedmas because I find it fun and easy!

This is my learning task for week 2. I have completed this
task in my maths class. I would usually complete my 
learning at home. I was happy to do bedmas and algebra.
I wish more for this kind of leaning.

This is my task for week 8 term 3, I was meant to post this

term 4. Like I said this is just some finishing off from last 
weeks task. My class and my self have been learning to

of the week! I have finished this off at home because I did
not go school because I felt very sick and did not want to
spread it on my friends! We are learning to subtract

Hiwi The Kiwi!

Yesterday morning, around 9:30 am Pt England school were into a very big surprise! The seniors walked into the hall and my eyes discovered a poster that had a kiwi on it. I thought we were learning about kiwis... but we had visitors. They are two lovely couples that live and travel in a caravan. They also go to other schools in New Zealand! There names are Mr and Mrs Minstrels.We learnt about water safety, saving birds, we also learnt to sing there songs and actions. Our school juniors loved it, they danced, they sang, they did all sorts of things with a smile! 

Mr Minstrels taught us how to save birds. Birds love to eat fish right, well they also think plastic is fish! People litter a lot of things on the beach, including plastic. Mr Minstrels explained how birds eat plastic things, but they still think its fish! He said that birds will still eat the plastic even tho if it was a funny shape or any type of colour! Mr Minstrels used the help of his wife Mrs Minstrels to sing there very own made song and do the actions. Tamaki Visit About Silicone Valley

Two students from Tamaki College named Saia and Gabe received a fascinating opportunity to go to Silicone Valley in United States of America! They visited Facebook, Google, Yelp, Twitter, Xero, Apple, Ideo, Microsoft, Stanford University, Khan Academy, and the prison called Alcatraz. The two students also went with there teacher Andrew Patterson. They told us about there favourite    places where they visited, they also answered some question that we asked them. We asked them about 20 questions about there adventure.

This was my reading task that I received from my 
lovely literacy teacher Miss Berry! I learnt about 
polluted water! The first line is how water gets 
polluted! I wrote three different facts about how
water gets polluted. For the second row I wrote 
two facts about how polluted water can affect 
us humans! For the final row I also wrote to 
small sentences/facts about how we can clean 
this dirty mess! Hopefully you may learn a few

Why did I pick boxing? 
I picked boxing because it looked very interesting and I also have a cousin that does boxing! Boxing is a very common sports during the Olympics. Boxing from way back then was way more different then now. If I had a sport to play when I am older it would be 50% boxing that I would chose!

Lava Narrative Story!

Walt: Write Narratives with the use of similes!

A long long time ago, as if we were in the days of the dinosaurs lived two proud mounga above and below the pristine pacific ocean. These two mounga were deeply in love as if they were Rangitoto, the sky father and Papatuanuku the earth mother. However, Maungarei stood tall above the sea as if he was Sir Edmund Hillary and Rangitoto below the sea as if she was the earth's core!

It was not all happy joy joy because these two lovebirds were separated by gallons and gallons of pacific ocean and could not see each other as if they were blinded by love. Maungarei and Rangitoto communicated through song as if they they were big blue.

Every day her lava grew and grew because every time the song was heard she fell more and more in lava with Rangitoto. Maungarei was 95% in love with Rangitoto, as she got to the point being fully in love with Rangitoto, Maungarei Exploded with love as if it was like the explosion of coca cola and mint! As the explosion had settled down Maungarei had not realised that she had faced the wrong way! She looked around and around, then she started to sing to let Rangitoto know that she is now above the sea, but little that she know that Rangitoto was sinking to the core of the sea! When Rangitoto was fully sinking to the ground he heard the lovely voice of Maungarei singing his song!

He realised that the whole time he has been singing his song, that Maungarei has listened to him sing every single day! Rangitoto was getting filled with lava easily because he heard Maungarei singing in her lovely voice as if she was Queen Latifah! Rangitoto exploded with love, he was now at the same position as Maungarei! At this point Rangitoto dream has came true! At the end of the day they lived their life happy together in the beautiful pacific ocean, singing their song!
