WALT -  Select strategies to suit the word problems

This is my maths task that my teacher has given me for 
week 11 term 1. This is my last maths task for the term! I
am looking forward for the holidays because I can spend 
more time with my family and more things like that. Anyways
this week I have been learning to select strategies to suit
the word problems that I have on this presentation. I hope
you have learnt something from this task!

Jack and the Beanstalk Quick Write!

Jack and the Beanstalk

Crying out loud from above the clouds is the mother of a giant kid. The massive beanstalk that the Jack has climbed is unfortunately bitten in half, no one can get up to the mother or to the castle up there. News reporter and photographers stand from the farm and awaits for the mother to respond. Police have gathered their SWAT to arrest Jack, they have investigated that Jack is the murder of the GIANT kid. A surveillance camera around the corner of their next door neighbour captured the scene at that moment!

Simple and Compound Sentences!

WALT - Identify & write simple and compound sentences

This is my writing task from week 7 term 1, if you have seen
my last few blogs they were from earlier in the term. My task
that my literacy teacher has given me on week 7 was to 
identify and write simple and compound sentences. It is 
currently week 11, yes the last week of the term. It's that 
time of the term, when you have to finish it off properly! 

Wonderful Water

This post is also being finished off properly. In week 7 I have
been learning to compare and contrast from one text to another.

Kete of Knowledge

WALT - Make connections between our prior knowledge and 
examples within the text in order to understand more abstract
ideas in the text.

This is my learning task from all the way of the beginning of 
the term, I though I have already posted this until I saw the
turn in. My task today is Finish it off properly.

The Whale Child

This task it from week 7. Today my literacy teacher has
given me and my class a challenge to do. The challenge is
to finish off our reading task from the whole term! We then
put in the link of the task into our blog turn in. Also, week 7's
walt is identify the similarities.

WALT -   Participate in a group discussion by actively listening and speaking This is my reading task for week 10 term 1. My literary  teacher Mrs Judd has given me this task to work with my  buddies Revival and Kosini.

Fractions Week 9 Term 1

WALT -  order fractions with different denominators

This is a task I have finished off from the last week. This 
presentation is from week 9 term 1. I have also been doing 
fractions last week. The difference is that the task this week
is a word problem task. Last week, myself and my group
have been working on putting fractions in order with different 
denominators. Its also the walt for this week too!

has given me this math task to complete, I am learning to
put the fractions in order with different denominators. I 
love fractions. I am very happy that I have finished this 
task early.
